Job Description

H.Merrick of California is seeking a highly capable part time sales associate for our Flagship store in downtown Los Angeles. If you love fashion, appreciate sophisticated elegance in addition to having an entrepreneurial spirit, great attention to detail, and are agile in a fast-paced retail environment, we'd love to hear from you. The key objective of this position is to develop incredible leaders, grow the business and positively impact our surrounding community.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with requests in store and on the phone
  • Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers
  • Greet customers in a friendly and polite manner
  • Keep an eye on inventory levels and restock floor racks as needed
  • Inform customers about current promotions and advertisements
  • Neatly package and fulfill online orders and 
  • Update and tag prices of merchandise on the sales floor
  • Contribute to team's daily sales goals

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of sales experience or customer service experience preferred
  • Willing to work weekends and holidays
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service
  • You are detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Have the ability to multitask
  • Resourceful and creative
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance
  • Anticipate what is needed and take action
  • Working knowledge of Square, Shopify, Quickbooks, MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) preferred
